The Importance of Sleep

Do you know that adequate rest is very vital to our success.

Anyone who goes without sleep for twenty-four hours will become restless, be more than 20% to make mistakes or take more than 14% longer to do routine tasks.

You may think it is smart to skimp on sleep, in reality, most of the people who are buying into this are not successful.

Adequate sleep is a must for all highly motivated people. No sleepers often create massive problems in their metabolism, in their endocrine system. They really hurt themselves while chasing money.

I read a book titled “Sleep Smarter” by Shawn Stevenson (Sleep Expert) , in this book Stevenson suggests four strategies to get better sleep.

1. Put away the Gadgets and Smart Phones at bed-time

2. Get Ready for Bed:
An optimized bed-time ritual can automate the process, allowing our brains and bodies relaxed into required amount of sleep.

3.  Consider Music:
One way to battle “inner chatter” Stevenson says, is to play same song or set of songs every night at bed time.

4. Be Careful What You Eat and Drink:
Don’t drink water before bed time. Staying hydrated is important, but Stevenson says it’s best to do so throughout the day, often starting in the morning.

If possible, it’s best not to eat anything for a few hours before going to bed. If you must eat something, it’s best to avoid things that are too sugary or starchy. Best snack for late night is a few nuts.
